Create a project
What is a project?
A project acts as a container for all of your project items:
requirements,
test cases,
test runs,
test execution results,
defects and
tasks.
There is no limit to the number of items you can add to one project. Besides, you can create or join by invitation to as many projects as you wish - and easily switch between them. How to create a project? Once you signed up, you will be navigated to the ‘Home’ page. At the bottom of the page, you can find the option to create a new project.
1. Click on the tile ‘New project’
2. The modal appears. Give the project a title. _(Note: you can always edit it under the project settings).
3. Confirm the creation of the project.
You can also create a project by clicking on the **‘Show all projects’ **button on the sidebar menu. Once you press it, you will be navigated to the **‘Projects’ **page, where you can perform the same actions and add a new project.
Later, you will find here all your created projects or the projects you are invited as a member.
Please note, projects exist as separate entities, so it is not possible to duplicate or transfer information across projects. If you need to see all data in one place, we recommend creating one project to manage everything.
